Our Izmit Factory Passed the Audit Success
Our Izmit factory successfully completed the unannounced BRCGS, Plant-Based, FSMA, and Costco audits conducted over two days, earning the AA+ score, which is the highest level in this field. Thus, our facility continues to maintain its certifications at the utmost level.
Unannounced audits are of great significance as they measure not only a specific preparation period but also our daily business practices, operational continuity, and disciplined work culture. Therefore, our Izmit factory's achievement of the highest score in these audits serves as a strong indicator that our teams operate with the same level of care and responsibility every single day.
The primary standards evaluated during this process can be briefly summarized as follows:
BRCGS (Brand Reputation through Compliance Global Standard): It is an internationally recognized standard regarding food safety, quality, hygiene, and legal compliance. It aims to guarantee that products are produced safely and consistently.
Plant-Based Certificate: It verifies the compliance of products with plant-based ingredients and confirms that cross-contamination risks in production processes are effectively managed.
FSMA (Food Safety Modernization Act): Within the scope of US food safety legislation, it is based on a proactive approach focused on preventing risks before they arise.
Costco Audit: It encompasses the high food safety and quality criteria expected by Costco, one of the world's leading retail chains, from its suppliers.
The completion of all these audits on an unannounced basis and with the highest possible score is a concrete outcome of the established food safety culture, operational discipline, and teamwork at our Izmit factory.
We wholeheartedly congratulate all our colleagues who contributed to this significant success and thank them for their dedication.
